Revolt is a collage of scenes that peel back language, press at power, and let feeling take up space in an attempt to liberate women and reimagine the world. Our journey through this manifesto is camp, sharp-edged and certainly not well-behaved.
Set is inspired by isolated frames and creating light prisms on stage. Costume is representing different eras in fashion from the 60s to 80s. I was particularly drawn to constricting collars to represent oppression.
